High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Yellowstone. Yummy food and friendly employees.

Not too thrilled with the lemonade. It wasn't tart enough for me, and the concept of adding a 'pump' of syrup to flavor the lemonade is lazy. Also those flavors take up a lot of menu space. Though I'm sure the guys in the kitchen bust their ass, the cashier was cold (maybe because I pointed out all the Torani bottles). They do have tots, however, which made me feel all nostalgic for middle school. And there's a handful of extra sauces if you ask.

Not the best pulled pork I've had, but it was decent. Needed more bbq sauce. Lemonade was ok also. Not so sure why it's so "famous". For the ratings this place received, my expectations were much higher. Employees are nice.

You guys are crazy. This place is a glorified Sonic. We stopped through while traveling and went here because of the rave reviews. It is a dive; the people are really nice but the food is pretty basic stadium food. The lemonade is good, tastes like a shake-up from a county fair but that is pretty much it. The rest of our food was pretty meh.

Good food. Good prices. Friendly staff. Not great, not bad. If your looking for a quick bite that is different than the usual chain places, this is it.

Loved this place! I was only in town for the night but I ended up eating there again for lunch on my way out of town. Very friendly, simple menu (but with everything you'd want) and delicious food at a decent price. Nice outdoor seating, too.

I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, my friend had a burger with mushrooms, bacon, and swiss. The chicken was tender, not too much breading, and covered in big blue cheese crumbles. The hot wing sauce was standard-hot and plenty of it, and the tomato and lettuce on the burger (and chicken sandwich) fresh and/or ripe. The tater tots were okay (again, standard fare) and the lemonade was delicious. Good fare for a good price. The seating was clean, although a large television was blaring away. It was over 100 outside and the seating was cool -- the restrooms were single-seats, NOT airconditioned, not particularly clean, and blisteringly hot.

I really like the food here but the service is very slow. The burgers and wraps are great but their new tacos are terrible. Sadly you can tell they don't know the first thing about making a good taco. I ordered the fish tacos and it came with a single piece of breaded cod on the taco with just a few shreds of coleslaw and some drizzled sauce. The breading was too heavy and tasted of grease and the fish should have at least been sliced. Disappointing!

It was loud.the place is to small for the people.it was dirty looking. Old highway signs on the wall that looked stolen and dirt on them..no tile in the main dining room. The food was overcooked.the staff throws the food on the table and rushes away..plus I ordered tater tots and got french fries.i will not go back.this was my first and last time

"What'll ya have?", "I've never been here before, do you want to order for me or should I take a minute to look at the menu?" That line never fails when there's a smart cookie working the order. Three minutes later Debbie was bringing me an amazing wrap that held itself together to the last delicious bite. Tots were good and fries even better, I guess they use good oil at the right temp to get it crispy. Lemonade could be more tart but was really just fine the way it was - cool and refreshing. Pomegranate and strawberry both work well for color and added flavor. Debbie was super friendly and outgoing - thanks for choosing a great lunch for me!

Not a favorite place of mine. It has decent cuisine but lacks punch. May want to give it another try but then again...

I couldn't find anything wrong with this place! Great vibe, nice staff (slammed), and great food. I had the crazy chicken wrap, it was fresh and delicious. Having the fresh cilantro and tortilla strips was a great touch with all the flavorful chicken and veg. Good size portions, too. Fry sauce comes with all orders, so you don't have to ask. The kids meals were excellent and not kid-size at all there was nothing special with the lemonade, but it was good and I liked the flavor shots. Good eats!

Gave them a try after eating at the one in Jerome. Much smaller, but the food was good. Bacon and guacamole burger was tasty, as were the fries. Parking could be better and bathroom could be cleaner, but overall a good (and cheap) dinner.

Ran into this little gem while on a road trip. Very reasonable prices and creative wraps, burgers and salads. You have the option of fries, tots, or sweet potato fries with your sandwich. Don't miss out on the sweet potato fries. They were some of the best I ever had! Great sweet/salty seasoning with a almost creamed honey dipping sauce- amazing!

After reading all these reviews, we were really excited to try this place; unfortunately, we left disappointed. The food is fine, but it's nothing special and I feel it's not worth the cost. The "famous" lemonade is mediocre. The offer a million flavors, but it's all just flavored syrup. Don't expect and fruit pulp or berry pieces or anything. As other reviewers have mentioned, the lemonade is too sweet and doesn't have a sour edge at all. The burgers are well-crafted and have yummy toppings, but the buns are from a bag and the actual meat is nothing special at all another issue is that we are pretty sure you HAVE to pay for a drink, even if you don't want one. At least, that's how it is presented. We didn't ask. For the same price I recommend Kiwi's on Blue Lakes Blvd if you want fried food; you'll thank me later. I feel like this place could be a lot better with just a few changes. It's on it's way to a great place to eat, but falls short.

I'm not sure what took me so long to try this place. Maybe the word 'burnt' in the title. My daughter tried it first and raved about the burgers and fries so I decided to give it try and she was so right! Food was delicious and the staff was super fun and friendly. I will be back for sure and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

  • Holly L.

The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! Sweet potato fries come with a delightful honey sauce. The Lemonade is a must have! I didn't want to add a flavor to my lemonade but my daughter did and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overly syrupy. Great place, friendly staff, food was quick but not your typical' fast food'. Previous posters were right, the chef is young and has a flare and the parking lot can be tight. All in all I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent meal at a decent price. I wish them all the luck this little place deserves it!

Absolutely love this cute little burger joint. Every time my family makes it over to Twin Falls, we have to stop in for their famous lemonade and burgers. Definitely a good excuse to come once a month just to get a tater tot fix as well.

I love the burnt lemon. This is one of twin falls better fast food place. The food is consistently good and always cooked fresh. The drive through can take a little longer than most fast food places, but you can count on getting quality, hot, and delicious food. I've eaten here multiple times and have never had a bad experience.

  • Ryan H.

There menu is fresh and original, from burgers to salads. The burnt lemonade is also very good. My only criticism is that the parking lot is always full and is hard to get in and out but that is a sign of how populate they are.

Are here once and it was good. I loved the totes and the lemonade. Service was fast. I would recommend going here.

When I crave a burger, this place is my first choice. They also serve wraps, salads and sandwiches. Very affordable and good food. Food always arrives quickly which is a plus. I usually get the kickin' western (my favorite) or Bacon bleu burger with mango lemonade. My hubby's favorite is the Bacon Crave. Sadly the restaurant itself and parking lot is small which can be irritating. But, this place is definitely worth trying. They also have punch cards for every time you visit & then you collect them to get a free meal :-)

Delicious stop for our family of 9! Even the kids loved it! The sweet potato fries are addictive, the quesadilla was huge, the fries were flavorful, the wraps were delicious and the lemonade was the perfect combo of sweet and sour. A must-visit if passing through!

Love their food, awesome prices, and their signature burnt lemonade is fantastic! Definitely worth a visit

You'd never expect it from the outside but this place was great. Very casual atmosphere and dining experience but the food was awesome and the cashier was very friendly. I had the pulled pork salad and it is unbeatable!

Excellent food, great service and very reasonable prices. It's the best lunch in town and they have such a variety of food on their menu you can keep coming back and not get bored.

Incredible dive burger joint. Very large selection of options and sides. (Fries are good but the tots are better). Lots of healthy options as well. Come hungry and order their home made lemonade! Quite small inside to be prepared to carry out at the rush. Fast and friendly service.

Traveling through Twin Falls and stopped at this place for dinner. I got the barnyard burger and it was excellent, one of the better burgers I've had. The place is small, but their food is excellent. My only complaint would be that the lemonade was awfully sweet and nothing too special, which is not a big deal except that the lemonade is what they advertise. The bathrooms were clean and nice as well!
